Python Day 64 – practicing numpy and thoughts on the future

I’m done with the API module so I just went back to do some numpy practice problems to see if I even still remembered it haha.

I learned:

Just the little stuff, like when using np.arrange to use (parenthesis) and not [brackets], but when I’m making adjustments to an array to use [brackets].

Looking forward:

Today was a pretty short session. I’m realizing that I have a lot on my plate this semester (especially when my internship starts next Monday). I don’t know how good it would be for my mental health to keep myself tied to the idea of doing these daily coding blogs. I might transition to doing them every couple days. I also need to check in with my friend who knows coding to see how much more I have to learn before I can start working on my own data projects. Once I get into doing some projects I think my mentality of this coding blog as a course might shift to it being something for personal fun. Don’t get me wrong I’ve really enjoyed pushing myself to learn something new, however I want to do some projects!

I’ve spent approximately 40 hours learning coding over the past two months. Is that a lot? A little? I have no clue. Either way it doesn’t matter. I’m happy with what I’ve done so far. And I want to make sure I’m always in a place that can change with the flow of my life.

Anywho this is getting mildly introspective. I shall stop now and save these thoughts for my journal.

I bid thee adieux.
